[Errno 256] No more mirrors to try CentOS yum update時

CentOS--Version忘れた！でyum update時、こんなエラーに遭遇したのでメモる。
とりあえずVersion確認

$cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 6.2 (Final)

エラー内容

epel/filelists_db                                                                                             | 5.8 MB     00:04     
http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rpm/stable/x86_64/repodata/filelists.xml.gz: [Errno 12] Timeout on http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rpm/stable/x86_64/repodata/filelists.xml.gz: (28, 'Operation too slow. Less than 1 bytes/sec transfered the last 30 seconds')
Trying other mirror.
Error: failure: repodata/filelists.xml.gz from google-chrome: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
 You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
 You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

ミラーサイトが見つからなくてタイムアウトしてる感じがする。

解決方法

$ yum clean metadata
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, refresh-packagekit, security
Cleaning repos: base epel extras google-chrome updates
20 metadata files removed
8 sqlite files removed
0 metadata files removed

$ yum update

これでOK!

これでダメならなら

$ yum clean all
$ yum update

を試してみよう。
